Quincy Broadcast Studio
Fort Wayne, Indiana
Schust Construction was awarded the contract for roofing and metal wall panels. Because of the sound requirements for a TV studio the design team choose a Carlisle 115 mil TPO fleeceback membrane. The material below the membrane consisted of 5/8” gypsum cover board, polyisocyanurate insulation, 5/8” gypsum substrate board, and a sound barrier mat over the metal deck. The exterior of the building had a combination of Centria Formawall Dimension Series Insulated Panel. The panels were installed vertically and horizontally for a unique look. Custom painted aluminum fins that Schust Construction fabricated were installed in between to joints of the insulated panels. McElroy Metals Mulit-Cor Panel was also installed on the building.
